OPAR engages technology and public policy stakeholders in dialogue about science and technology policy issues so that we can positively influence public policy outcomes.
Welcome to OPAR! Thank you for visiting our website.
OPAR is a public policy group focused on science and technology policy. Our mission is to stimulate dialogue between technologists and policymakers.
OPAR is based at the Georgia Tech Research Institute in Atlanta, GA. In addition to legislative relations in the state of Georgia, we have an active and exciting applied public policy research agenda.
As such, we welcome partners for our research activities and invite you to contact us if you see something that interests you. Specifically, we are seeking collaborators to test our Technology to Policy forecasting model. If you would like to conduct a T2P case study, please let us know by emailing me at marlit.hayslett@gtri.gatech.edu.
