The Georgia Tech Research Institute's Office of Policy Analysis and Research (OPAR) seeks student interns each academic semester. Ideal candidates will balance technical skills with an interest in public policy. The work environment is a small team of policy analysts in an information technology research laboratory. Note: This is an unpaid position, but we encourage students to pursue class credit for the experience.
Company Information: GTRI is the non-profit applied research arm of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. OPAR conducts technology policy research to support GTRI researchers in their technical research development.

Please prepare a brief writing sample (3-5 pages). Acceptable submissions include, but are not limited to policy bulletins, memoranda and articles. Previously submitted class assignments are acceptable. Please be aware that if a sample is found to contain plagiarized content, the applicant will not be considered for the internship and will be reported to the internship coordinator.
